Why there is no single figure
Rates change by category and date. Publishing an “average” would be misleading: two similar cars can differ.
How we calculate
We determine category and age, apply the rates in force on the import date and show the calculation in the estimate.
Why it matters
The fee is paid before release and is included in the estimate you see before the deal.
